Kita stotelė - stotis

Šią idėją įkvėpė paprastas užrašas ant vienos namo sienos Vilniuje. Išlipant is troleibuso Gėlių stotėleje ant priešais esančio pastato matosi užrašas „Kita stotelė stotis“.

The idea for this project came about after I discovered an inscription in Vilnius. When you step off the bus at the Geliu stop, the first thing you see on the wall in front of you is the following words: “kita stotelė stotis” (next stop station). The inscription echoes the announcement you can still hear as the doors of the bus close.

Correspondent for Radio France Internationale in Vilnius for almost ten years, I record sounds and atmosphere as a way to describe the life of the city and the country with the help of my microphone. So I am neither a sound engineer, nor a sound artist. Recorded in the past few years and sometimes captured by accident, these sounds invite you to follow a soundwalk through the daily life and memories of Vilnius.
